“Marshall from M&B Pond took on the task of creating a working & recreational pond for us. When we moved to our property the pond was about 1/8 acre and dead. Filled with debris and many years of neglect. We wanted to create a pond to use for the Organic Farm we were planning to build on the property. We also wanted the pond to be attractive and “Living” . We wanted to attract and support the wildlife in the area and stock some fish for both recreation and consumption.
Marshall has an amazing understanding of the soils he is working with and our pond behaves as if it was naturally formed. He added an island which with the natural winds creates a current providing natural aeration for the fish. And as you can see from the attached photo Marshall worked with the landscape so the pond is beautiful as well. And most of all this pond successfully supports an extensive irrigation system across our 7 acre farm.”
